We are led by our pastor, Reverend Denman Jones.
Denman graduated from Geneva College with a BS in Mathematics. While in college, he learned of God's love for him and became a Christian through the patient and persistent witness of a friend. Also, he met his wife, Doris, there. After college, Doris and he moved to Kentucky where he attended Asbury Theological seminary. Through the years, he has served churches in a variety of settings in Florida—from small and rural to larger and urban. He has loved every setting and discovered wonderful Christian people in every place. He was at his most recent appointment in Tavares for 10 years. pastor@cypresslakeumc.comReverend Patricia "Patty" Davis joined our staff in August of 2006. In this role Patty is blessed in her personal relationships with church members of all ages, during hospital calls, home visits, and counseling.
