Congregational Care Ministry

The Congregational Care Team is a group of devoted individuals who regularly visit people in the hospitals, nursing homes, rehab facilities and private homes. The purpose of their visits is to be a reminder that the church loves our people and cares about their situations. The team members report their visits to Pastor Patty and note any needs or requests that the visitee may have. The goal of the CCT is that each shut-in be seen at least monthly and more often if possible.
One of the many ways one can serve Christ and be the hands and heart of Christ is to become a Parish Visitor. You need only three or four hours a month; you need only to know how to smile and listen and pary. You need only to travel a few miles from your home. There are many of our congregation who are waiting for you to visit them in their homes, care centers, or hopitals. You may choose which place you are most comfortable in.
Please pray about this opportunity to expand your ministry and make a real difference in someone else's life. Pastor Patty would love to hear you say, "Who needs me? I'm ready to go!" Please let Pastor Patty know when you are ready. Call 482-1250 x225
Shalom!
