Bright Beginnings
A member of United Methodist Association of Preschools (UMAP) - www.umapfl.com
Bright Beginnings is committed to the developmental needs of the young child and encourages growth in all areas: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual -- in a continuous interrelated process. As a Christian preschool, we want the children to experience what it means to be the child of a loving and dependable God. Since play is the "work" of children and the foundation of a good pre-school, we recognize its value for young children.
Bright Beginnings Early School is licensed by the State of Florida and is also accredited by the United Methodist Association of Preschools. The school is inspected regularly by this organization. You may be assured that all of the facilities meet and, in most cases exceed, all licensing requirements.

Mom 'n Me
Mom 'n Me is an introductory program for two-year olds and their mothers. The classes meet one hour per week and consist of play time, art activities, and story and "rug" time.
Three-year-old program
Parents may choose from Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday or Monday-Friday classes from 8:30 to 12:30. These classes stress socialization and learning through play and a wealth of "hands-on" activities. Time for art, music, outdoor play, story time, creative dramatics, and group activities are part of each day's activities.
Four-year-old Program
Our four year old classes are part of the state’s Voluntary PreK program. We prioritize our wait list by those families who want our “extended VPK” program, consisting of more hours than provided by the state funded program alone. There is a fee for this extended program. These classes consist of hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning experiences, emphasizing beginning literacy and math skills, as well as building the self esteem and self confidence needed to move on to the primary grades. Children attend Chapel weekly. An after school enrichment program, “Lunch Bunch” is an option up to four days per week.
Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is designed to meet the needs of a particular group of children, mostly "young fives." It is intended to be a bridge between preschool and public or private school kindergarten classes. Children entering Stepping Stones must be five by September first. This class will meet Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 1:30.
