The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church."

The United Methodist Women at Cypress Lake is part of a worldwide organization of women who join together in fellowship to help others here at home, throughout the United States, and around the world. They give of their time to learn of needs and broaden their religious understanding. They give of their talents and last, but not least, of their money as they are able.

The local group comes together as a unit at least six times a year, on the first Tuesday of the month, in the Fellowship Hall. These unit meetings have a program, followed by lunch and socializing. At the present time, there are three circles consisting of ten or more members who meet as sub-groups.

You have the option of attending a circle meeting Monday evening, Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon, during the second week of each month. Our groups are composed of women of all ages.
