Support Groups
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Support Groups exist to help people through a difficult and sometimes unexpected stage of life. Support Groups are led by understanding people who have been in a similar situation. Support Group participants are people who are currently in need of spiritual, emotional and practical help. All groups are confidential. CLUMC currently offers these support groups:

GriefShare is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. It's a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. At GriefShare, you'll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life.
GriefShare groups begin with a workshop on Saturday September 13, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm workshop.
Lunch and Coffee Breaks Provided.
Evening Group meets each Monday; September 15 - November 17; 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Chapel Meeting Room
Afternoon Group meets each Tuesday, September 16 - November 18; 1:00 - 3:00 pm in room S-8
$20 fee covers workbook, lunch and all coffee breaks.
Scholarships are available upon request.
