J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) – 9:30 and 11 am
Preschoolers (ages 3 through VPK and potty-trained) meet in room F-4. During the 11 am service the children meet in one large group.
We use Deep Blue Kids, a United Methodist Curriculum. With Deep Blue, children will make Bible stories, Bible people, and Bible passages a part of their lives. They will also come to know the Bible as THEIR book and find ways to let the Bible speak to them today! Deep Blue incorporates Bible stories, science activities, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games into a lived-faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today. The Deep Blue kids—Asia, Edgar, and Kat—will lead the children through the Bible using animated videos that tell the story. The student resources-the Bible Story Stuff, the Kids Activity Stuff, and the Deep Blue Kids Bible—are colorful and engaging, encouraging the children to “dive deeper” into the Bible and explore their faith in fun and age-appropriate ways.
All children should check in at the kiosk in the Fellowship Hall lobby no earlier than 15 minutes before the service. Parents, you will be asked for your check-in receipt when you pick up your child at the end of the service. On your first visit, you’ll be asked to fill out a registration form, or you can pre-register online.
There is no programming for preschoolers and elementary age students on the first Sunday of each month (Family First Sundays), in order for children to participate in worship with their families.
Nursery for children birth-36 months is available in the Sanctuary during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. On your first visit, you’ll be asked to fill out a registration form, or you can pre-register online. Pagers are available so you can be reached if your little one needs you! Of course they may also join you in worship.
Please check out our Weekday Play Day if you are interested in nursery care during the week.
