Season of Caring

This is the sixth year of our “Season of Caring” – a way of showing our thankfulness for God’s blessings in our lives.

We are collecting food for the South Fort Myers Food Pantry November 13.

All donations go to our neighbors in need. No glass jars, please.

Items requested by the Food Pantry:

  • Canned Corn
  • Canned Green Beans
  • Boxed side dishes – stuffing, potatoes, rice and pasta
  • Canned Pumpkin
  • Canned Gravy/ Gravy Mix Packets
  • Canned Soup
  • Peanut Butter

We are also supporting multiple local mission partners through the Season of Caring:

The trees in the Sanctuary lobby have ornaments labeled with a gift or gift card need. Pick up an ornament, shop for the item on the tag, and return your NEW items, UNWRAPPED or in GIFT BAGS with the tag attached, by November 20.

There are a lot of different choices for everyone and we will be making Christmas brighter for children, teens, women and men across southwest Florida.

You can also make a financial gift that will be used to purchase gifts or gift cards that we did not receive. Use the “Make a Contribution” button below.

You can also help build our Tree of Hope!

The Tree of Hope in the Sanctuary lobby has paper tag “ornaments” for you to take along with a list of ways to share God’s love to spread kindness and hope during this holiday season.

You are encouraged to share how you shared God’s love this holiday season. Take a “God’s love” tag from the Tree of Hope, and write on the back one thing you did. Bring it back to church so we can see how God worked through all of us together!

Whichever of these opportunities you decide to support, we know that you will also be blessed by this Season of Caring!
