The Southwest Florida community is invited to attend a presentation on human trafficking on Tuesday, February 27 at Cypress Lake UMC. Representatives from the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking (previously known as the SWFL Human Trafficking Coalition) will give a community awareness presentation, with tips on recognizing the signs of human trafficking and action steps you can take. Refreshments will be offered beginning at 6 pm, and the presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. The event is free and open to the public.Click here to watch the event
The Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking is an-all volunteer organization that has developed partnerships between the community, law enforcement, service providers, and the media to combat human trafficking through education, coordination, outreach and training.
