Join us for an afternoon of Christmas and inspirational music with Jan Mulder. Mr. Mulder will perform solo piano pieces accompanied by instrumentalists. This concert is the first event in the 2nd annual Concert Series at Cypress Lake UMC.

About Jan Mulder
Jan Mulder was born into a Dutch family of pianists, conductors and composers, and studied piano, organ, and composition at the Rotterdam and Utrecht Conservatories. He has recorded several solo piano albums with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. The album Christmas, released in 2014, features the renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Mulder’s recent albums Love Divine, Love Divine II, and Love Divine III are reinterpretations of well-known Christian hymns, arranging familiar tunes and breathing new life into them. His special Jan Mulder in Concert has aired on PBS stations across the United States. In the last decade, he has focused on concerts in the United States where he performs on the piano and conducts an orchestra simultaneously. Mr. Mulder is President (Pro Deo) of the Beethoven Foundation, which provides free pianos to talented young musicians.
