New community groups are launching at Cypress Lake!
Community groups are a reclaiming of our defining beliefs as United Methodists. John Wesley believed that faith development began and was sustained in the life of a small group. Community groups are groups of 8 to 12 that meet 3 to 4 times a month for a year. Community groups are designed around building relationships, exploring God’s truths through scripture and supporting each other in prayer. As a result, group members receive accountability, belonging, and care. Community groups are a place for intentional relationships and spiritual growth. You can’t grow spiritually without connecting relationally!
150 people took this step in the spring, and we’d like to see even more people register for groups this fall! Groups kick off the week of September 12, and in-person and virtual options are available.
Participants meet 3 to 4 times a month for about an hour each meeting.Register for Community Groups Why community groups?
