New community groups will launch in Fall 2022 at Cypress Lake!
Community groups are a reclaiming of our defining beliefs as United Methodists. John Wesley believed that faith development began and was sustained in the life of a small group. Community groups are groups of 8 to 12 that meet 3 to 4 times a month for a year. Community groups are designed around building relationships, exploring God’s truths through scripture and supporting each other in prayer. As a result, group members receive accountability, belonging, and care. Community groups are a place for intentional relationships and spiritual growth. You can’t grow spiritually without connecting relationally!
Groups will kick off at the end of the summer, and in-person and virtual options are available.
Participants meet 3 to 4 times a month for about an hour each meeting.
