We know that many of you are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ian yourselves, but we have been asked how to make financial contributions to relief efforts in our communities. We have three ways you can help your neighbor, and please feel free to share with others outside our church.
- If you want your funds to support people known to our church and pastors, give online to: Pastor’s Discretionary Assistance Fund.
- If you want your funds to support local organizations that are providing hurricane relief in Lee County, give online to Local Outreach – Hurricane Ian.
- If you want your funds to be administered by the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) to help all those impacted by Hurricane Ian, give online to UMCOR – Hurricane Ian.
You may of course contribute by check; please mark your contribution with “Pastor’s Discretionary,” Local Outreach Ian” or “UMCOR Ian” to help us direct your contribution. Thank you for all the ways you are serving as the hands and feet of Jesus – here, there, and everywhere.
