Join us on Saturday, November 12 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall for a seminar that will help you gain a deeper understanding of Parkinson’s, a progressive disorder of the central nervous system associated with degeneration of the brain and a deficiency of the neurotransmitter dopamine. Registration for the event also includes lunch.
Our central theme is focused on how those with Parkinson’s can live life to the fullest and thrive through networking, exercise & physical activity, support groups and spiritual nurturing.
Testimonials will be shared by several individuals who are living a quality life and leveraging core values of optimism, problem-solving, and collaboration. Medical expertise will be shared, demystifying the disease and offering ways of boosting better brain health. Community agencies will showcase beneficial therapies including Rock Steady boxing, dance, speech, and more. The inter-weaving of mind, body, and spirit will be a resounding rhythm throughout the Seminar.
The book Living Well With Parkinson’s Disease will also be available for purchase.Seminar Registration
